Adult Day Program
Adult Day Services is an ideal supportive care option for seniors who live independently or with family members.
The innovative program offers the services and support that help elders stay safe, comfortable and active during weekdays, enabling them to be independent in their own home for as long as possible.
The program also offers care and assistance for the isolated senior who may require modest assistance during the weekdays when a spouse or other loved ones are unavailable to help with their care.
Adult Day Services sometimes serves a respite function for a caregiving spouse or adult child who needs a break from the challenge of caring for an older loved one seven days a week.
The program operates out of a cozy early 20th century house adjacent to St. Mary’s Home.
Here, seniors spend their weekdays with a circle of friends, feeding the spirit and easing loneliness.
Participants enjoy games and art activities, local outings, nutritious meals and snacks, pastoral care and daily worship opportunities.
