Current Openings:

Director of Home Health and Hospice

This position has overall management responsibility for Franciscan Home Health and St. Mary’s Hospice. Both are non-profit, Medicare certified agencies. This position works very closely with the staff and management at Our Lady of Peace Home, which offers excellence in end-of-life care for persons with cancer and limited financial resources.

Our organization is small but growing and needs a leader who is well seasoned and inspiring to patients and staff. Our mission is to provide personalized care with a strong faith based approach. We provide care to persons of all faiths. Our hospice is 10 years old and Home Care is 6 years old.

Primary Duties:

  • Accountable to develop and manage the budgets.
  • Collaborates with Liaison staff in growing the programs.
  • Responsible for hiring, orienting, and evaluating all staff.
  • Directs the EMR using Allscripts.
  • Responsible for ongoing performance improvement activities.
  • Directs the clinical policies and procedures.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
  • Minimum of 5 years clinical and management experience in Home Health and/or Hospice.
  • Demonstrated ability in management of Medicare certified home health and hospice programs, including COPs, regulations and financial operations.
  • Strong background in current nursing practice.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Team builder and self-starter.
